The good News: tariffs have been reduced from 15% to 10% on value of goods.
Well thats sounds good, doesn't it?

Since DHL stopped their service "Warenpost International" for USA we are only able to ship a DHL parel.

DHL Parcel

The DHL Parcel shipping service is available, with informations and custom declaration that I, as the sender, must provide when shipping. The PDDP (Postal Delivered Duty Paid) service is mandatory, whereby the sender pays all import fees for the recipient directly to the shipping service provider, who then forwards these costs to the US customs authorities. This has the advantage that the recipient in the USA no longer has to pay any fees upon receipt of the parcel, as these have already been paid by them in the invoice when placing the order.

In a nutshell: buyers pay the import duties when purchasing the item along with the shipping costs.

I am aware that there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the introduction of new tariffs in the USA and that various information is circulating on the internet. This information is not always correct. I will try to provide you with all the information I have from reliable sources, explain it as simply as possible, and answer any questions. Unfortunately, I cannot answer all questions.

Calculating your shipping costs

Oh boy, calculating your shipping costs is harder than rocket sience!

Shipping costs consist of
1. A flat-rate shipping fee for a package to the U.S. and
2. Variable costs for customs duties and related additional fees

Since the costs include variable values, it is impossible to display the shipping costs in the online store, so I have to calculate them manually for each order.

To make it transparent and easy for you I will send you a table with a breakdown on all costs. Based on this table I will send you an invoice for shipping costs by paypal which has to be payed after you set your order. 

If you want to know your shipping costs before you order please let me know before you hit the buy-button. I will calculate your costs from your cart.

Please bear in mind that the shipping costs for tranportation small items with a low value are often higher than the value of the item itself.

For shipping a doll with a higher value it absolutely pays off.

To save on shipping costs, you might consider placing a group order with your fellow collectors and splitting the shipping costs among yourselves.

Other companies

Unfortunately, I cannot answer questions about how other companies ship their products. They may have already adjusted the tariffs and import costs for their customers in a way that is invisible and hidden to their customers and are shipping with PDDP, so that there are no costs for customers in the US upon delivery, but the customer has already paid them without knowing it.

Or they ship from a Warehouse in US and it looks like this goods do come from USA while they are not.

However, Boneka Tradition wants to remain transparent for all customers so that you can continue to shop with a trustworthy company.
