Shipping goods from Germany to the USA with DHL is partially possible again.

DHL Parcel - possible

The DHL Parcel shipping service is available, with new information that I, as the sender, must provide when shipping. The PDDP (Postal Delivered Duty Paid) service is mandatory, whereby the sender pays all import fees for the recipient directly to the shipping service provider, who then forwards these costs to the US customs authorities. This has the advantage that the recipient in the USA no longer has to pay any fees upon receipt of the parcel, as these have already been paid by them in the invoice when placing the order.

In a nutshell: buyers pay the import duties when purchasing the item along with the shipping costs.

DHL Warenpost International – not possible

In order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for our international customers, we ship goods using the DHL Warenpost International service. This service allows small packages weighing up to 1 kg to be shipped at a reasonable price – ideal for small items such as doll clothes, dolls, and accessories.

THIS SHIPPING SERVICE IS STILL NOT AVAILABLE.

DHL is working on adapting the online portal for this shipping method, but was unable to give me a date when this will be possible again.

Unfortunately, we still lack the information needed to calculate the costs for shipping to the USA. Until then, I ask all Boneka fans in the USA to continue to be patient and understanding.

I am aware that there is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the introduction of new tariffs in the USA and that various information is circulating on the internet. This information is not always correct. I will try to provide you with all the information I have from reliable sources, explain it as simply as possible, and answer any questions. Unfortunately, I cannot answer all questions.

Other companies

Unfortunately, I cannot answer questions about how other companies ship their products. They may have already adjusted the tariffs and import costs for their customers in a way that is invisible and hidden to their customers and are shipping with PDDP, so that there are no costs for customers in the US upon delivery, but the customer has already paid them without knowing it.

However, Boneka Tradition wants to remain transparent for all customers so that you can continue to shop with a trustworthy company.
