Snow White in Lohr

“Hair as black as ebony, skin as white as snow, and lips as red as blood”

We have relocated, back to my home in Spessart forest. This is where I was born and raised.

The fairy tale “Snow White” by the Grimm Brothers is based on the historical figure Maria Sophia von Erthal, who was born in Lohr am Main in 1725.

Born in Lohr am Main, I am also a “real Snow White.”

The hospital where I was born is right next to the beautiful Lohr Castle.

Snow White's sewing room is now furnished, and - inspired by old fairy tale illustrations - I have sewn Snow White costumes for our dolls. Genuine handmade unique pieces. 

Our Snow White, Maria Sophia, wears a long dress with funny dwarfs, a polka-dot apron, and a hand-embroidered bustier—a real eye-catcher for dwarfs and princes and anyone else who lives in the fairy-tale forest.

About our Sweets:

The painting was developed by artist Helen Skinner and realized by Leannie for fabric painting.
For this doll we decided on blue eyes. The doll is blushed here and there at her body.

Helen Skinner has been a member of Dianna Effner's Dreamer Guild from the very beginning and she knew Dianna and her visions pretty well. I couldn't have asked for a better partner and friend in consulting and the realization of this project.

Our basic Sweet Monday is named after one of Helen's daughters Janie.
